‘Vranya Stena’ and ‘Islev’ are two separate compositions. Combining them into one kinda works for me when playing live. Hope you enjoy it.

God knows
“The sun ariseth and the sun goeth down and the same things come alike to the righteous and the wicked. Bread does not always come to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill, but one event happens to us all. The wise man dies no better or more wisely than the fool. In what way, then, is the wise man wise?”
Joseph Heller, ‘God knows’
Joseph Heller
I read Joseph Heller’s ‘Catch-22’, ‘Something Happened’, and ‘Good as Gold’ while I was putting the final touches to the pieces that will comprise my debut album. I wonder if it’s possible to sense the influence of a literary work in a piece of instrumental music.
